Shock: Recognition and Management

Shock is a consequence of trauma and diseases, such as heart failure, inflammatory conditions (e.g., pancreatitis), or sepsis. It is commonly seen in veterinary practice and the veterinary nurse must be able to recognise the possibility that an animal is experiencing shock and take quick and decisive action.
